Symphony of the Potomac
David M. Kanter has been arranging, performing and teaching music in the Washington, DC area for 40 years. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, he served with the U.S. Navy Band, played with the Annapolis Brass Quintet and has appeared at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. David organized and plays with the Silver Spring Brass, and is currently bass trombonist with the Symphony of the Potomac. He has co-authored "40 Brass Nuggets", a series of arrangements and compositions for brass instruments. He lives in Maryland with his wife Annick.
